Weight Loss - diet and exerise?

right my normal day-to-day diet is 2 - 3 bottles of water 1 or 2 milkshakes normally 2 bits of toast with light flora butter haha some of my dinner [whatever my mum makes] sometimes a snack [xmas presents - chocolate] nd my exercise it: walk home from school (30mins) about 15 mins of dancing 10 mins running - minimum and sometimes sit ups oh and i run up and down my stairs 25x about two or three times to my point can this help me loose weight cause i think ive only gained!! probably because i have been eating too much chocolate but please give me your opinion and any help or tips or that Thanks <3x sorry Rob S im looking to LOOSE weight i eat far too much already haha

I would cut the milkshakes and get some meat protein. Eat chicken, lean meats, veggies and fruits.

Hello, Over the holidays it seems you may have gained some weight as most of us have due to the goodies and such our families make. Over this month hopefully you will see weight loss happen if you follow your current meal plan. I would recommend drinking more water, make sure you eat veggies along with your meals. Switch your toast to wheat breads, and try to stay away from butter if possible. Try something like natural peanut butter instead. Be conscious of your junk food habits, you can still have them just know that it isn't good to be eating them daily. I would try to limit myself to maybe 3 chocolates a week (not bars, just pieces). What kind of food does your mom make? Is she health concious? Because if not , maybe your dinners are full of fat and sodium. As for your exercise, try to do 30 minutes of continual cardio exercise, not in 10 minute spurts (unless they are all back to back). So if you are dancing for fun, try to do 30 minutes of it and make sure your heart rate is up. If you are running try doing this : Run as fast as you can for 30 seconds, then walk at a fast pace for 60. Repeat this for 10 minutes, then jog after wards for the last 20 minutes.
