How much weight will I lose running 2 miles a day?

Okay, I weigh 156 Ibs and I'm only 5'2 Im An my Early 20s and When I met my husband I was only 115Ib. And I'm just not happy with my body, none of my clothes fit, and I'm to embarrassed to go to the store and buy more clothes in a bigger size.. I have been watching my Cal in take and cut out sodas, I run on our elptical for 30 mins everyday and In the time i run about 2 miles. I know thats not good time but atleast im trying. I hope to build my way up to running an 8 min mile. So how much weight will I lose with doing that everyday? & any addional weight loss tips?

I think its great you have been running on your elptical for 30 minutes everyday...thats something to be proud of! I just recently lost 30lbs....and what i did was watch my calories 1200-1300 a day. ( I would allow myself a cheat meal every week) and I worked out at least 3 days a week...in the beginning it was more like 6 days a week...but i was really motivated then! I lost 30 lbs in about 3 months. I reallys suggest the calories at 1200-1300 though. that is really what helped me lose the weight, because if i was just exercising alone...i would have ate to many calories to even make a difference. I think 30 on the elptical is good to get started. But if your like me at all, i would add in some new stuff just so you don't get bored. I personnally like workout videos, (zumba, taebo, and jillian michaels are AWESOME!) it helped me get the weight off. Good luck to you and stick to it. You should only lose 1 - 2 lbs a week so really be proud of yourself for any small losses because they will add up over time~!
