I have a lot of weight to lose. I am almost 24 years old and just had my first child last August. I was overweight before I got pregnant and then gained a ton of weight during pregnancy. I am 5' 5" and I was about 210-215 before getting pregnant and now 8 months after having my baby I am at a steady 235. I have A LOT of weight to lose but I need some motivation and tips to get me started. I have tried lots of fad diets but this time I just want to do it right to keep the weight off. I've already lost 20 lbs since my weight has stabilized after birth. Now it's getting really hard to continue and not only that but now I am a single mom and find it hard to make special meals and do more than 20-30 min workouts. Any tips..... or tools (websites, etc-that are helpful) would be a great help! IS THERE ANY WOMEN OUT THERE WHO ARE IN THIS SITUATION (same height/weight) OR HAVE ALREADY LOST THE WEIGHT? I would love for you to tell me what's working or did work for YOU! thanks!!!!!! *One 8 month old infant (not able to breastfeed) *Female, *24 yrs old, *5' 5" and *235 lbs. Being Spanish I have a very curvy large frame and I think hold my weight well. My first goal is to lose 35, and then another 20 and then drop the weight slowly after that until I reach 160 or smaller. I would look really really skinny at 160-170 but I'm mainly concerned about getting this 35 lbs off QUICKLY!!!!! Thank you SOOOooo much for any help!! :)
Hello, have you tried weight watchers? I am in the same situation and have a lack of motivation also lol. But i did in the past do weight watchers flex points program and it worked very well . If you google all the information you may not even have to go to the meetings but if you did it may be better for support. It is a hard thing to deal with. I wish you well! dont get discouraged if you can find what works and stick with it you will loose the weight. :)
