Hey. I am a teenage girl and I am goign on holiday in 3 weeks. I would like to tone up a bit as the I will obviously be in a bikini alot. I am not fat but not thin either haha. I am 5 foot 4 and weigh 126 pounds (9 stone). My thighs and tummy are my problem area's, I would like to get rid of some of the fat and make them more defined. If you have any exercises I could do at home, tips and food advice then please let me know. Thank you very much!

One of the simplest ways to lose weight and to tone up would be to go for a run - half an hour each day would do the job, that would tone your legs, arms and tummy, also maybe do sit-ups before bed each night? okay, to get into shape , speed up your metabolism, rid yourself of excess fat and lose weight ,,,,,do as follows: Stop drinking & smoking (if you do this regularly) eat fruits & vegetables all you can (buy a food/rice steamer to make it easy on you)...(vegetables might not seem "tasty", like junk foods,, but can be as you aquire your taste to them..and are loaded with energy and nutrients)...avoid all junk food, cokes, sweets, etc...and drink water . If you eat meat ,,use only steamed, baking or grilled methods for preparing fish or chicken. also, do an hour of walking each day at least. or some type of excercise. * you should lose about 10 lbs per month

For your tummy do sit ups and leg lifts (lie on your back, raise your legs straight up and then - keeping them straight - lower your legs until nearly on the floor, then lift them back up. Hold it for as long as you can. Push yourself back up the wall, don't slide down as this can damage your knees). Always keep hydrated, not drinking enough water can make your body store the water from your food which will make you heavier and bigger. Plus water's good for your skin/hair/general health. As for food, stay away from processed food - no take away or fast food. You probably know what's good for you, though. Vegetables are better for you than fruit, as fruits have a lot of sugar.
