Im 16 years of age and Im 5'3. I want to lose at least 10 pounds and I currently weigh 108 pounds. Please leave your e-mail if you want to be my weight loss buddy. :)

The pattern for losing those excess pounds is not difficult - consume less and move more often - the difficulties appear when we really try to put that into practice! There are a lot of stumbling blocks in the big wide world aren't there?! I learned some good advice by learning from the web resource in the box below, they have a lot of guidance, I worked off 5 pounds by following their tips.

98 pounds is way too light for any 16 year old

honey if you are 5'3" you do not want to weight 98 pounds! you are at the optimal weight right now, maybe even strattling the line with being underweight...if you dont like how you look i would suggest just trying to tone up your body, not losing weight!

no offense but that would make your BMI at around 17 making you underweight..why would you want to do that? In all honesty you should gain 10 pounds not lose it...

I am a pre-nursing student in college, currently taking a Nutrition class, and according to the Body Mass Index (BMI) chart, you are on the borderline of being UNDERWEIGHT and unhealthy. Here is the chart for someone who is 5'3: Underweight: 102 lbs or less Healthy weight: 107-135 lbs Overweight: 141-163 lbs Obese: 169-225 lbs If you lose any more weight you will probably look bad. I say DO NOT lose any weight. You may need to see a doctor if you believe that you need to :) Don't listen to all the peer pressure in school, and the celebrities looking like they are drug addicts and sickly. You need to be healthy and have some meat on your bones!!!!!!
